My Studio

I don't know about you but when I get in a creative mood (which is most of the time) I tend not to be neat. Ok, I'm a clutterer. I will pile this fabric on top of that fabric mixed in with matching zippers, and oh I got another idea and I go on the hunt for a particular piece of fabric for the new idea. And before you know it I have way to much out. So then I have to reorganize a bit. So that is where I am at this point. I have some holiday ideas and about half dozen or more sewing projects cut out and waiting for me. So, the plan for today is to straighten up my sewing room so that I can get back to sewing.

My sewing studio is small, but with all those heavy duty shelf's that my hubby built for me on the back wall I have more than enough space. I will take some before during and after pictures to post here as I go along.

Along with that project I need to work on cleaning the kitchen and getting ready for Thanksgiving. I'm having the family here for dinner. I will be cooking a turkey with all the sides that each of the kids like.  I am so thankful for my family, they are the best, and I know I can trust them. They support my dream of creating beautiful handmade bags and selling them in my own online boutique.

Handmade with Love

As you know I have a passion for handmade.  This isn't a recent discovery, I have always been this way. So it wouldn't be a surprise to hear that I made a gift for my daughter and son in law that had to be handmade. The past 1-1/2 months I have been working on a special project, I'm making a quilt throw for their first anniversary.
