Boho Fabric Choker Necklaces

Handmade fabric and ribbon tie on choker necklace.

These bohemian style choker necklace were hand sewn with fabric and ribbon and embellished with beads and beaded dangles.  The ribbon is sewn in, or around the fabric of the necklace for a closure, you can tie it loose or snug depending on the look you are going for. I hand formed and stitched each necklace until it had a twisted look to it. I then formed a beaded pendant with coordinating beads and sewed it to the center of the fabric. I attached a satin ribbon to each of the necklaces with the ribbon extending on each side of the fabric portion of the choker to tie it closed.

33-1/2 inches (end to end of the ribbon)

15-1/2 inches (twisted fabric part of the necklace)
40 inches (end to end of the ribbon)

Turquoise and pink boho choker necklace

Measurements:
16 inches (twisted fabric part of the necklace)
41 inches (end to end of the ribbon)

In the fashion world, bohemian, or boho, refers to a a state of mind regarding fashion that is individual, romantic, and free-spirited. This style is often called hippie-chic, or even boho-chic.
