A New Home for your Mouse...

A mouse pad is something most of us have for our computers.  When I started making these a few years ago it was so I could have something that reflected my personality sitting on my desk.  My first one was covered with ladybugs since I collect ladybugs.  For my sons I made each of them a Wheres Bart mousepad from the Simpsons cartoon.  I made my mom Blue Roses mousepad because her favorite color is blue.  They are thin and non slip. I sew a rubberized backing on them so that they wont move. It stays where you put it, If you need to move it, pick it up and lay down where you want it.  These are easy to keep clean, just hand wash and lay flat to dry.
These also work great to use on your nice living room tables, use them to set your drinks or anything else on.
So, does your mouse need a new home?

Earrings Handmade by Kathisewnsew

Making earrings has become a fun little distraction for me when I need a break from sewing.  I think one of the reasons I enjoy making them so much is that I can't wear earrings so making them is my way of having earrings.  I have an allergy to different metals that makes me break out in a rash where the metal touches my skin. So what happens is my ears swell up and that's not a pretty site. So I thought today I would share some of my favorite earrings that I have made.

Czech Glass Button Bracelets

A few years ago I found my first Czech glass button, I wasn't sure what I would do with it.  Maybe I would use it on one of my bags, or maybe a piece of jewelry. Well I decided on making bracelets that I would use the buttons as the centerpiece to each bracelet.  Each of these beautiful bracelets is a one of a kind piece of jewelry.  Each piece of jewelry I sell comes in a handmade fabric or crochet drawstring bag, perfect for gift giving or storing your jewelry. I hope you enjoy these lovely bracelets as much as I enjoyed making them.
